Jerry Brown
During his career as a Chief Engineer, Director of Engineering, and VP of Engineering he designed and supervised the construction of more than 20 FM radio stations, and their associated transmission plants, including towers 2000 feet in height, he then moved into complex technical sales. After a successful career in broadcast equipment sales, Jerry became the managing partner of a group of 6 AM/FM radio stations in NC and VA. After engineering the move of several of the stations, Jerry and his partner sold the operation. Jerry is a Certified Professional Broadcast Engineer (CPBE®-Retired) from the Society of Broadcast Engineers, of which he is a Life Member. He holds a Federal Communications Commission Life-Time General Class Radio Telephone License (originally issued as a First-Class Radio Telephone License [Radio Engineer’s License]. In 2006 he was admitted as a Member of the Royal Institution of Engineering and Technology, Faraday House, London England.
